So the good thing about this recipe is that it's simple to make. The bad thing is that you gotta peel the peaches and that's a messy chore. You can either use a knife OR you can try this method I found online. You can put the peaches in boiling water and cook them for a minute or two. Then you put them quickly into cold water and the skin peels off easily. Your hands will get sticky either way as unpeeled peaches are slippery as snail in a pool of jelly.

Peach Cobbler
for the peaches you will need:
- 6 peeled peaches cut into moderately large pieces
- 150g white granulated sugar
for the batter you will need:
- 100g flour
- 150g white granulated sugar
- 170ml milk
- a pinch of salt
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- Put a piece of butter in your baking dish (23cm x 33cm, I used my trusty quiche dish) and let it melt in the oven while its preheating to 175 degrees C.
- Meanwhile, prepare the peaches and make the batter by combining everything together. Pro-hint: If your baking dish is bigger than the size stated (like my trusty quiche dish), add amount to the batter ingredients too or you'll end up with a cobbler prone to break into pieces.
- When it's all prepared, take out the dish from the oven. The butter should be melted on the bottom. Dump the peach-bits into the dish and cover it with the batter. Don't stir! It's ok if peaches poke out a little.
- Bake for 40 - 50 minutes until the batter is golden brown and starts developing cracks at the surface.
- Take it out, let it cool a bit. Serve still warm with whipped cream or an ice-cream
